|Raja get new computa dis week. Yeah!|
I've had my share of challenges with this blog and they all started on June 8th. I was pulling in 9,300 page views a week. Things were cooking. Then my screen went black on my white iBookG4. That screwed up my coverage of The Voice for three weeks.
I thought the problem was fixed, but it only got more frustrating. The computer would work for four hours and then I couldn't get it to stay on for 30 seconds. After several of the AGT shows, I'd be at Denny's all-night, fighting the computer, just trying to get the post out. But I did it.
A little over a week ago, my screen went black, and there's code at the top. I have no idea what to do. However, I have on order a fabulously new refurbished used MacBook Pro with a 15" monitor and I will be in blogger heaven when that baby arrives.
Right now, I'm at the library. I get 2 hours of computer time a day. On average, it took me about 3 hours to go through my notes and write the America's Got Talent recap. For the last two weeks, I just couldn't do it. And for that I am deeply sorry.
I can tell that a lot of fans are relying on me to deliver the goods. Just look at the most popular posts over the last 7 days on the right. Seven out of ten are old AGT recaps.
I'm hoping to have the computer in the next few days. For loyal AGT fans, I'm going to go back and write the recaps and results of the shows I missed, just so you can see how the season unfolded.
There is still a lot ahead. This coming week will be the YouTube 12 and they'll take their shot at the $1 Million prize and a headlining show in Las Vegas. I hope to GOD that I will be up and running by next Tuesday. I love AGT. I love the fans and I love writing about it all.
To the loyalists - I owe an apology to AGT - America's Got Talent 2011 Fans - the best in the world.

Sorry for not having the links here - Microsoft computers won't let me copy them. Bill Gates must DIE! Maybe he can be the tester for Professor Splash's next trick.
