This week, strong, smooth moves by Hines Ward and Kym Johnson propelled them to the top of the leader board with a score of 27 out of 30.
With enthusiastic praise from the judges, Chris Jericho, Romeo and Chelsea Kane wound up in a three-way tie for second place, all scoring 26 points.
Ralph Macchio continues his slide from the top, finishing in another three-way tie, but this was for last place. Macchio was joined at the bottom of the leader board by Petra Nemcova and Kendra Wilkinson – all scoring 22 points.
Just ahead of the laggards was Kirstie Alley with 23 points.
A highlight of the show was when Kendra Wilkinson and her partner Louis van Amstel danced the 1,000th competitive dance in DWTS history.
There was one flat spot for the night. Usually, the costumes are stunning, sexy or at least interesting, but Alley wound up in a blue pants outfit that could not have been less flattering. She should have a talk with wardrobe and head in a new direction next week.
Alley has had her share of challenges on DWTS. Two weeks ago, her partner fell. Last week, her shoe fell off. This week, her costume should have remained on the hanger.
Since last week's Elimination Show, the Internet has been abuzz when it was announced that Ralph Macchio's partner, Karina Smirnoff, will appear on the cover and inside the May issue of Playboy Magazine. Search engines lit up looking for Karina Smirnoff pictures.
Kendra Wilkinson seems like the contestant with the shakiest position in the competition. Fan voting will sort it all out by Tuesday.
Who were the leaders on Dancing With The Stars 2011 this week? Hines Ward wound up in the end zone all alone.
